You threw me with; “38 degrees in the sun” But then I remembered we are the only ones that still use Fahrenheit. LOL 38f is cold.
I love the last stanza and the ending. :-)
I used to be good at this style when I was young, before I gave up writing for many years. I can’t remember the name of this style now though. I had a thing like this growing in my head as I walked the beach at work yesterday. Wish I had a notepad. It was good but I can’t remember a word of it now. Sigh!

LMAO!!! 8? Is that all? Using Celsius the point water freezes is 0-zero and the boiling point is 100. Using Fahrenheit water freezes a 32 and boils at 212. There actually is a sound logic behind that but Celsius does make more since to me. We do get a more accurate measurement from Fahrenheit though. The ratio is 1 to 1.8. That is 80% more numbers to represent the same temperature range. It has to be almost 100 to be hot in Fahrenheit. 100f = 37.7c “you pints is smaller” - Yah, that always pissed me off. At ren fair everyone caries their own pint mug. Mine is huge and I often say; “Why that’s not a pint. This is a pint.” and hold up this;

I like the feelings you put in this poem, lady. And I like the way you see the world around us. Very good work! W.F.
