Tongue
Magical muscle, pink finger with no bones— mysterious pleasure-er, shape-shifter— a conductor’s wand, a woodwind’s reed.
A nimble but sightless executive director of food placement--you dart in and out of enameled traffic,
play a dangerous game of keep-away with rarely a casualty, a crushing nick, a smear of blood on a finger tip.
A mouthful and at times sharp as a blade. Seldom do you rest, in your dark sheath.

I have a little nut to crack, how can a tongue be a woodwinds reed? It moistena the reed and it puts pressure on the reed and it splits the reed- but it cannot be the reed.
" enamled traffic " is damn inspired. A really enjoyable piece, mic.
