I can’t connect the title to the poem. I imagine dendrites are very active even when we sleep. I like the feel of the poem though. It’s a lot like something I have been trying to finish. A nature piece I call “Saint’s Pool.â€

LF and Ris, thank you for your comments.LF, for myself there is a spiritual, mystical association in the poem.
Twistedangel, sort of. Dendrites are never still during life, and they are almost solid energy so that is part of the equation.Thank you for reading and asking. I like leaving a little room, as the reader completes the process.

That clears it up. I didn’t connect the energy aspect. Very good and this may explain something I have wondered about for some time now. I never before thought about this energy of the brain quite like this. Thank you for opening my eyes again and again. :-)
