It's customs vary every two steps or so To shed light on a new subject, is a declaration to shed blood To question any of the myriad authorities, is to put yourself in harms way Speak freely by all means... but watch what it is precisely you say Live freely by any means necessary... but please do not disturb the rest of "US" The consequences I'm afraid may be severe It takes alot of sacrificing to be free It gets to a point; one begins to question it's meaning But the buildings continue to be rebuilt Like an ant hill, divinely resolute

You display so much truth in your writings that it is often painful to read but no less welcome for it. “It takes alot of sacrificing to be free It gets to a point; one begins to question it's meaning” – Freedom is not always what we expect and some chains cannot be reattached. Thanks for sharing Veritas.

I feel It's as your opener is unnecessary.
L8 - perhaps 'the' meaning or even 'valid' meaning.
Futility (and protection) in numbers. Will attempt to leave you better feedback when I'm not humming along a livewire ...

I am feeling this piece. Was that a Malcolm X reference in L5? The opening line is a strong introduction.
