I am a mirror Nothing more than A reflection of Everybody else
I am not myself A simple puppet Pretending to be A human being
Ev'rything I do Just what I am told Manipulation My only talent
So easily I Shatter to pieces Destroyed. Devastated. To sharp shards of glass
I have but one use To stab, to draw blood And sometimes, even To end someone's life

Quite clever, I would not have considered using a mirror in this way, really enjoyed this piece, BG

Pretty damn good. There is something different about this piece. I haven't read much like this one, interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you.
I'm especially proud of this piece, since it was a spotlight at The Poet's Sanctuary.

I really liked this particular piece. A very clever way of using the imagery of the mirror. But I think this poem was about more than the mirror. From some of the things said, I think you relate very much to the mirror in this poem. In a way, we are all reflecting the rest of society, because we feel we have to. There are so many interpretations to this poem that I can't even list them all here! Great work, Lina.

Very real. The imagery presents great pictures in one's head. I like the structure and flowing of this piece. I have to say this is your best I've read so far, Lina...
