Oooh!!!!! Hello!!!! So sorry this place has been a lil' empty as of late, I'll shake a few trees.
Welcome!!! And please be sure you're leaving a minimum of 2 constructive pieces of feedback for every one piece you post.
Now then, down to business: I think poetically speaking you should open L1 with the second line. The first is too common, even for the conversational tone you've set. L1 S3, consider changing " this" to "a". S3 L3 would sound better " a fog filled wind still blowing to this day".
This is so lovely, you might consider adding it to the board for poetry inspired by members.

Really cute shout out piece. Perhaps "An empty place beckons" as your opener?
Love the tats.

Personally I think “Emptiness beckons…” would be the best opening but with a write like this there is a personal element that I don’t think should to be tampered with too much. They should be a bit raw.
Bastet is the Egyptian huntress. A female cat huntress. The best hunters that ever lived IMO.
Jag - You do know that with a jaguar totem you have to abstain from bodily pleasures, right? It symbolizes a solitary path and pure spirit. Reserved for shamans.
I’m a dragon, a shape changer. Sometimes a fish, most often a wolf, but always an earth dragon. We are messengers of balance and magic. We encourage others to tap into our psychic nature and see the world through the eyes of mystery and wonder. All dragons are the embodiment of primordial power, water being my favorite, but masters of all four elements. Oh, and very old. LOL

"Definitely solitary, if you mean sex by bodily pleasures, i would be a joke among peers lol" - Yah, me too. But I don't find it funny anymore. The jaguar is one of the most beautiful animals. Stealthy hunter of the night but it is feared for all the wrong reasons. A very powerful and pleasant skin to wear. What I find remarkable about its legends/stories/totems is the consistency over both time and geography.

Aztec priests dedicated to Tezcatlipoca were celibate, but the kings who were coated black as a representation certainly were not celibate. The sick were often painted in representation of Tezcatlipoca as well, and the Olmec and Maya also revered a jaguar sun god for healing and medicine. I think his chosen name alludes to a prince of the underworld.
As a healer myself I'm used to being visited by serpents and lynxs. My understanding of jaguars is as symbols of stealth and power during self actualization, cutting through the illusion of separation showing hurtful lessons from the past can be transformed into higher clarity of purpose.

I am at peace with what you have said. It coincides not only with what I've read in Popol Vuh about Xibalba, but also echoes the teaching of the Toltec, Brahmans, and many other mystic traditions. The mirror reference immediately reminded me of the writings of Don Miguel Ruiz. This is absolutely the place to discuss such topics, any time you like. Feel free to start a discussion thread in Fight The System. You are guaranteed to incite a lively response from many of us. Pardon my enthusiasm - mysticism/esotericsm is my secret joy.
