Oh look here comes another 'refugee' How do we feed him ? It's ok, we'll just steal more from a OAP An what about paying for all the warring, gonna need a shed load more prosthetic limbs It's ok, we'll just close down another hospital wing Population unhappy, how about a royal parade spend on a party for the miserable we made It's ok, we'll redirect funds from the fire brigade We seem to have forgotten those on the dole 3 million trapped in poverty holes It's ok, think of the taxes from another 50,000 Poles Compensation from pensions we been fleeced, while MD's get their wages increased It's ok, we balanced it by losing a few police Increase in have an have not society, education issues causing greater wealth an poverty diversity It's ok, we made sure only the rich an afford university
Billions wasted on nuclear rockets, while the national grid struggles to supply power sockets It's ok, as long as the politicians can still line their own pockets
This political correctness you preach, justice now so far out of reach It's ok, we now outlawed free speech In In this asphyxiation i choke Lowry now up in smoke, passed his sell by date As industry closes another factory gate
WHEN WE GONNA SAY THE REAL TRUTH OF TODAY THAT f*ck ALL IS OK

I'd have to agree with the above, Fight the System is a good fit for this. Although I do feel less fight and more futility so rage works just as well.

LOL I vote for Rage. There are no lines like; Tired of being pushed around Gon’a take ‘em wit me when I go down. And all that yelling at the end.
You know, I don’t know what the OAP is but I know exactly what you mean. This kind of ties into your comment in “The Truth Hurts.” The problems are much the same here and there. We are tied into the same economic system. Our captains of industry want it all. I mean the world this time. Well, they always want the whole world but they just might get it before this all collapses this time.

There was a man who invented an engine that ran on water. No lie. It actually worked. He worked out all the safety issues and actually built two working proto types. He had been driving one for a few months. At the time I read the article he had been approached by every large investment company there is and was being heavily pressured to sell his patent. He refused. It took me some time to run across a follow-up. I started to wonder why I never heard anymore about this incredible revolutionizing invention. He was shot in the head through his kitchen window. No arrest or investigation was ever made. It’s ok.

OAP..Old Age Pensioner (used to be at 65 now 70 cos we got screwed in the credit crunch ) i did start to write a poem entitled 'f*ck walmart' an wos mostly about 'localism'..basically turn away from huge supermarket superpowers..vote with you wallets an walk away...hit em where it hurts..instead support you local businesses..the high street butcher an baker..they in turn support their local garage mechanic/electrician/plumber etc..tho it may cost a little more in the end everyone will be better off..a kinda capatilistic socialism..before its too late an the huge retail parks suck the life out of town centers where already in the UK 20% of small shops an traders are gone IMO this wont solve all problems but is a snmall step in the right direction..as for advertising products i reckon we aint in control of choice anymore but are force fed wotever they is selling..an the ad campaighn a thin veil of lies to make us believe we are choosing
