A desert. There Sandy dunes are zombies of dead passions. A dead memory calls them somewhere. A dead aim beckons their wave to nowhere. A desert Sings. An endless wind, dead voices of dead gods, Is a faded hymn from their bright past. A desert Is A place where Time transforms itself into dust.

I like this Ris. It echoes some of my own feelings about deserts. My favorite line – “A desert Sings.” Nice ending too. :-) The desert is the one place I do not mind the wind. It always speaks to me there. The desert is not as dead as most people seem to think, though I understand why you use so much reference to death in this poem, like the sea much of its life is hidden. It’s a different place and beautiful in its own way.
