How often do you go camping? Have you ever done winter/snow camping? RV, tent or other? I personally go camping every other week when Im living in the Kootenays. If im living in the city its a couple times a year only. Havent tried winter camping yet, but ive gone as cold as 0 degrees in spring/fall. Usually tent or hammock and lots of homemade stew over the fire. What about you?

I love Camping. I go a fair bit but living where I do I cheat a lot and just day use areas close to home. I love backpacking too. Even in the winter. I’ve taken snowmobiles out on overnight trips. Kind of like backpacking without all the walking. I used to go all the time. At least 6 or 7 camping weekends and 2 or 3 backpacking trips a year but it has gotten hard to find anyone to go with. I hiked the Grand Canyon and parts of Sedona last month. :-)

I love camping! In the spring and fall I try to go every other weekend, but in the summer months it's usually too hot to enjoy myself, even with frequent dunking in the lake. I prefer tents, though I switch to cabins in the winter time. My brother goes snow camping, in a tent, in northern Minnesota - I think he's crazy!

I ADORE camping. In fact my Husband proposed to me on a camping trip. That night we stayed in each other's arms during a thunder storm. The rain was pelting down on the skin of the tent, but we were right in the middle of the power of nature and I remember it with such fondness. I get away camping every 3 months or so if I can. We stayed in a Mongolian yurt in February with a log burner... anybody slept in one of these? I thoroughly recommend it. Though the outdoor forest shower was the icing on the cake

I've never slept in a yurt, though I've seen many people recommend them for no frills living. Your engagement story sounds down right enchanted.

Love the outdoors, especially bodies of water. Going camping this weekend at a local lake. Can't wait to get my natural self on, lol.

Until my bones become too brittle, I'll stick with tenting. Not much for noisy overcrowded camping resorts, we usually stay in the state or national forest/park campgrounds where the biggest luxury is restrooms and showers. If funds are available and all of us can get away from work, we go at least twice a year.
Nothing like blissfully staring into a good campfire.

I camp at festivals an recently got into MTB (tho spend more time pushing the bloody bike than actually riding it) so camping naturally followed campsites with amenities..never done 'wild camping'....fem fresh is meant to be a last emergency resort NOT a choice cool thing about tents is like sitting in a huge big bong bubble downside.....thin walls

Never again!
Went camping once.... Hated it. Maybe because it was in a group setting. I hate groups unless everyone is my friend. lol
