Mothers and Toddlers
I thought it would be good for me A place for my son to play Only 25p for juice, biccits and tea It would while away half of the day
Nothing could’ve prepared me For the horrors that lay in wait The derision if your child had a dummy The maniacal potty training race
I hope it helped Rob’s socialisation I know it did nothing for me I hate to speak badly of women But a lot of them were out of their trees
Why did they think we had to compete? Would one of us win a gold cup? Can’t we just tell, if we did our job well If at 18 they aren’t too screwed up?
Q
*Authorial note...
This is probably a song of experience, dunno if outside the UK you have mother a toddler meetings, I imagine they're a universal reality.
Very scary places, a whole new level of hell. Filled with terrifying competitive women.

We have playgroups and mother's groups, and all sorts of shite I stay the hell away from. I know my daughter is brilliant, why do I need someone else's input?
