Golden light spills softly from under gauze, and silently steals back the night, teasing...
wake up, sleepyhead.
Mmmm... there's a beautifully sculpted kona arm thrown across my body, hands and fingers curled to touch my sleep, tattoo blurry at the edge of whiskeyed eyes...
dark hair against my cheek... I whisperpurr against cool flesh ...Beloved...
and realize my mistake.
I haven't seen the sun rise reflected in hazel pools for too long, haven't swam beneath the moon or made love among the stars...
head buzzing, need water shoes - where are my shoes? And the slap of hungover soles against the pavement
as I try to walk away from myself and remember that home lies somewhere west
of a long and broken road.

Trully exquisite! Hmmm ... seems most of your poems are very unique, and that's mainly because they are very "situational" and very emotionally personal, yet fluidly, eloquetnly and gently drawn on paper canvas. A great hail to detail. Nicely done and well enjoyed. If had to pick some parts I'd chose these: "Golden light spills softly from under gauze, and silently steals back the night, teasing..." "I whisperpurr" ... "And the slap of hungover soles ..." Just brilliant! KUDOS

Wow...that was breath taking....I hope this post finds you well...the melenchology nature i pick up on makes me wonder how you are?
Loved this the most head buzzing, need water shoes - where are my shoes? And the slap of hungover soles against the pavement

I could see you here...so vivid...that it hurt my head.
