"Guilty Eyes"
Rage upon the broken seal In darkness, the fury flame Beneath the wicked core Unveils your lasting shame
Through the sunny rays Sheds the crimson rain Inside, dies the need To release your faithful pain
Lying within the floorboards A blood-stained bed sheet Some where within your heart Lies your everlasting defeat
Clench your pillow tight, my dear Trouble is on the rise You won't be able to hide The guilt within your eyes
Find some peace here in your bed Sleep well, my love, tonight For you won't know what hit you When comes the morning light

you would think that being drunk would make this easier to comprehend, but no.. i was wrong in that assumption.
talk about vivid imagery. definitely not something ive come across before.. im liking the originality of that.

This should be read outloud, with Shakesperean drama! Behold! the flame!
Anyhoo - wicked f*cking opening, Daze. Some great imagry littered about, like Leash said. I think this is a diatribe at your ex, a 'curse' that he should open his eyes to the light and see the destruction he wrought.
Enjoyed.

Thank you both! I think the mixture of alcohol and anger brought this out of me. It's pretty much the only piece of mine that I like. And, yes Chrys, this was a big f*ck you to my ex! I didn't think anyone would catch that... good eye.
