The Styxx smoked as mist steamed and rose high above the water between eternity and life after Charon stood impassively aboard the ferry three tired souls pleaded for passage three gold coins were given before he agreed
the mist cleared as they heard the barking Cerebrus stood defiantly on the opposite bank heads bared teeth at the prospect a brave soul said “let me be sacrificed so that my brothers may be at peace”
the ferry crunched on the stony shore a valiant soul gave himself to the canine the brothers wept as Charon inserted gold coins in their mouths to cease the wanderings of tormented souls.

It's nice to see that someone has done their research! You took a few leniences hee and there, but that's allowed in creative writing...lol. A very clever idea. I liked your description of the Styx. It was incredibly atmospheric.
Just watch your spelling of Styx. And I was confused as to why Charon put the coins into the mouths of the dead!
