I do..................
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! That's right, I sit around with writers block and forget about writing until I get an idea. Besides, if I try to write anything when I have writers block the poem sucks.

You know I was at another site (please don't beat me!) and they wre making fun of themselves by "joining" Museless Anonymous. When I saw this I decided to post a theory of my own...
I was reading a post about people losing their muses, but they have yet to notice no one ever truly loses it. By my math a muse has to be schizophrenic in order to replenish itself (you can't concentrate on one muscle, it'll go bad faster and heal slower), it's just a matter of knowing what identity said muse has become.
A little exercise I ended up doing (OK, so I was stoned, sue me), was to name every muse that co-wrote more than 3 writes, then I named names for muses yet to collaborate with me, then I named muses I thought I'd never sit at the same table with (I end up placing bets with myself upon those muses). Then it's only a matter of evening your stats, trying to make up for personalities long ignored within your muse (try writing an apology to a formerly unnamed muse, you can't strengthen unless you exercise ya know).
A muse well rounded keeps going 'round, a muse with uncharted territory ends up with speed bumps, traffic jams, or veritable comas. There is more than one facet to any diamond, gotta catch 'em all dude...

Well l am currently having the worst writer's block ever. I can't think of anything to write, so I just stopped thinking about it. I'm hoping something will come up and inspire me...I think I'll just do what Lina is doing...wait for an idea to spring up eventually.

How about writing about not being able to think of anything? That's what I did. There's a lot of material out there, and you have to have a poetic opinion about it, so why not go towards that muse?...

Then write about that, like so...
Passing Thought 23:I Have No Idea...
The Twilight Zone Has played its joke on me; I've no tangent to twist, Nor rant to rave ravenously. My mind's been slipped a mickey When I should've tinkerbelled, I might finagle a fancy Though nary a caterpillar has conjured up. Perhaps my herbal breakfast Has regulated the fiber of my being, Synapses sauntering snakedly, Making the world a greener pasture. Maybe I'll find another movie of the mind, And tangle it into a tapestry, Or twist into a tremored article of contemplation. Sooner or later, Since deliniations are dark, I'll have to return to the pen...
Exercise dude, exercise...

Where shall I find the time to do so?
I need a certain atmosphere, a mood, a setting, comfort, relaxation, contemplation, and most importantly TIME, to carefully chip away at my mind and reveal it's hidden gems.....

Where shall I find the time to do so? I need a certain atmosphere, a mood, a setting, comfort, relaxation, contemplation, and most importantly TIME, to carefully chip away at my mind and reveal it's hidden gems..... That is how you find one muse, have you tried to find others elsewhere? Time is what you make of it, even if you have to go 1 line a day to finish that is how the muse is singing, probably had to get use to a new instrument so to speak. Forcing yourself does nothing but inhibit yourself to that mode and things will end up slower than a fart in molasses, go with the flow dude. I have this script I've been working on for 7 months, 5 of them I couldn't write a thing, and a week ago it came to me while I was writing something else. I had a song I wrote, half in 11/92, the other in 7/94. Timing's a twist. What I usually do is listen to talk radio, I find lots of material there. Commercials, conversations in the street, drunks at the beach, it's everywhere dude. Keep a notebook handy, you'd be surprised where you find the next line or even the next epic...
