you were staring out on starry skies i saw the moon dance in your eyes tears raining bright like fire flies counting the cost of many lies
i whisper softly as wind thru trees get up my love from off your knees let the fire inside me for you unfreeze its time to swim in warmer seas
looking into the abyss of the unknown unanswered calls on your telephone inside your soul pitifully cries for home beside i stand but always felt alone
redemption from your own damnation salvation from your desperation locked away in your own incarseration lost your way no longer any destination
i wos staring out on starry skies moonlight dont dance in mournful eyes winters come theres no fire flies counting the cost of when love slowly dies

I think I like the final strophe the best. I like how you draw it all around full circle and echoing in the end, as usual am not keen on the rhyme.
