Invisible womb, glorious pulsating orobouros of being, of non-being gestating a prime number.
Birthing a perfect no-thing, living umbilicus circumventing the symbol more pregnant than the bulging space within its confines.
Simultaneously full and empty, a pop-up sky skinning myths through silent octaves.
Where duality collapses; where duality is born.

I have to read it again when not so… tired. Haven’t slept and need to go to bed now but… I get it and love it. The balance of cancelation. Wait. Hmmm… the cancelation of balance. It’s sinuous and beautiful. Circles. The last stanza; perfection! I’m speechless but could write pages about it. Orobouros indeed.
I have not come full circle.

Angel – A google search doesn’t mean you’re any less intelligent. Both you and Aish send me off to google fairly often. It’s an experience thing I think or language. I didn’t google anything for this write but it seems that not many can relate so closely or easily to it. Ris is a master of experience and he didn’t get it either so don’t think you’re an idiot.
Aish – Every time I read this I love it more. :-)

Ris, sorry old friend.
Angel, I don't think you're an idiot at all!!! Really, google won't be of much help.
This embraces the numeral zero in an unconventional manner and to be honest it cross pollinates disciplines especially with the orobouros. In a way this is an epic fail. It relays what I meant it to, but language is never enough.

Zero, circles, and the orobouros. Each by themselves has major significance on life and the rules of the universe. This could get long but I think I’m too stoned to explain well anyway. Zero is a very different number than all others. From a mathematicians view there are two representations; the number zero and null. They aren’t quite the same but they both represent nothing. It’s symbol is a hollow oval. Circles are everywhere just like fractals. They are very popular. I wrote this in “Riddle: What Am I???” ; Round and round I go, with no end or beginning, and in the middle nothing. A precious gift. What am I? It seems to have sallied the game so I’ll give the answer her; it a ring/ a circle. The point is that circles are hollow ovals too. And an orobouros? Hollow. There common aspect is that they represent a Zero/ null, but within a representation. Mathematically this representation hints at infinite knowledge and within this contains nothing. In one symbol we have both ends of everything and nothing. We all pretty much know what zero [0] and circles [O] are but the orobouros represents a more complete understanding of the symbol. The wiki on it is just the beginning but it only tells of common knowledge symbolic meanings through known history and it only glances at those. The Ouroboros or Uroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OuroborosThe human mind can’t really comprehend all of what it represents and so words fail. Our soul is better equipped for it but… words fail.

An orobouros is a serpent eating itself. It is very often drawn with the phrase "quod me nutrit me destruit " (what nourishes me destroys me), though the symbol is far more ancient than the saying.
I can give you pointers on reading poetry in general and I can certainly give you a few tips on how to read my poetry (just pm me). Always keep in mind it's an art form and the reader completes the process- so it's subjective, though a good writer will want readers to be able to connect, you can't do it "wrong". Some symbolism is universal, some emotions are strong, and sometimes the poet is the one failing.
My stuff tends to have multiple meanings and I swear that isn't me being pretentious, it's just the way things come out. Not every piece, mind you. And even if you get something completely different reading than I did writing, it's totally COOL. I'm just happy when someone connects to a piece I wrote.
As for this particular poem, it's intensely spiritual. You have to go within... envision a zero with an orobouros wrapped around it, both luminous... and just breathe and meditate and be open. No quick answers. May it haunt your dreams and live in the spaces between your atoms <3 It's a gift.

And LF, there is also a pregnancy aspect - mother serpent. Cosmic egg. Divine Mirror. Light without beginning or end. Microcosm/tree of life. Amniotic waters/worlds of darkness/gestation/the reigning overlap of celestial ages, etc. Hints between the lines. It's so much more than what it is.

^^^^ thats the line i wos going for..i thought of a barren wombs at first..but changed it to the unborn child..a nothing..a hollow vessel yet to be filled.."silent octaves" gave me thoughts of its heart beat
then the "duality" thing..like its part the mother genetically the same..but its not gonna remain the same has it grows in life he/she will become their own person

“It's so much more than what it is.” – YES! Definitely. I meant to mention the cosmic egg and it’s everything without beginning or end. And definitely pregnant as it represent creation/birth, consumption/death.

' glorious' seems kind of unnecessary in S1 L2.
Aish, you've taught me a lot and I know how powerful a creature you are, wolf momma, but even after reading the discussion like five times I'm lost. You've always told me if the reader doesn't get it the poem fails... I don't want to yell FAIL 'cause it's striking and really alluring if that makes any sense, but I don't get it.

i try describing nothing but it always sounds like something , even when i use no words the empty sound fills up with the very thing i cannot describe , untill i reach for scribble and lose its meaning where the thought would of started to speak ,i can write to mean nothing sometimes though :_)
