1. an ant is on your desk.... I'll have to make up a D. Ignore it. I make a conscious effort not to kill animals, even insects (although sometimes it's hard not to avoid killing an insect....) And I'm not scared of insects (although I'm really scared of spiders). Hell, I like flies ^^ I'm weird, I know........ 2. a centapede is crawling up your pant leg, you should.. um...... centipedes aren't dangerous, are they? Then I guess C cause it wouldn't hurt to make it leave 3.you just steped in to a hornet's nest, what do you do? C. dig a hole to china That's probably the closest answer to slowly backing away.

No, no I'm not afraid. And with you Ms. Lina, no you're not weird. Okay, lets see now:
1. I wouldn't do any of those. I'd leave it alone.
2. I'd simply pick it up and then let it go.
3. Well, I'd either hold perfectly still, or slowly back away.
I know that my answers aren't from the options available, but it's what I'd do.

Yep, I'm scared. And I'm not afraid to admit it! Lol. I think I just totally contradicted myself. Anyway, here are my answers:
B. hide under the desk and cry like a woos (although I'd much rather run away)
C.do the chicken dance until it falls out (while screaming)
C. dig a hole to china (and probably never come back!)

Lol. Yep. I'm totally pathetic. But I can't hurt them because I'd just get really upset. Like that time I accidentally ran over a squirrel. I had to pull over the care for about 15 minutes because I was in tears! I can't even kill a bug.
So I'm scared and proud of it!

I think there's a difference between being humane and being scared. I, for example, am humane---- I don't eat meat because I'm morally opposed to it rather than because I'm a wuss (which I think I am anyway, but for different reasons. I don't understand how being able to stick to a strict diet for years makes you a wuss.) I don't kill bugs because I think it's wrong (although I have a lot less respect for bugs than for smarter animals.... like if I had to eat an animal I'd eat a bug.)
And for the one animal I am unreasonably afraid of (spiders), it's actually impeded on my humaneness. For a while even after becoming a vegetarian, when I saw a spider I'd run away and get someone to kill it. It took a lot of willpower to decide I'd just run away and leave it at that.
And yes. I literally run away from even the tiniest, most harmless spiders.

Well, I'm humane AND a wuss, then! I'm vegetarian because I feel it's cruel to animals and I just don't like the taste. But I'm a total wuss when it comes to bugs. Although I'm too humane to let them be killed. I'm such a mess!

No need to be afraid of spiders, Lina, they're more afraid of you then you are of them. They may be ugly, and creepy, but they're harmless. At least most are. Some are deadly and very poisonous. Oh, that's not helping. Sorry. Spiders are very helpful. They eat the annoying and pestful insects that we don't want bugging us. They also talk to pigs. If you know what I mean.

Ooooh. I was hoping that I was helping. What's all this about flies, oh yeah, spiders eat flies, but they eat a whole lot more then just flies. Anyways, yeah.

One time a fly flew into my house and it was flying around in squares like an idiot. I found it really funny and cute and named the fly "Square Fly"

I have no idea. After I lost track of it I never saw it again. Maybe it flew outside. I'm sure it's dead by now though b/c it's been several months....
