OUROBOROS is an ancient symbol, every contenent has a version, it was mainly used in alchemy and religious rites. It is a snake eating its tail feeding and devouring itself, the monicher " my end is my begining" the spellings vary " oroboros, oroborous...etc. its used in alchemy, gnosticism, hermeticism... it can be traced to the greek philosophers who used it as the symbol for the cyclical nature of time and early christians took it to represent the limited confines of this "world". It also found a home in norse mythology as the great serpent who encircled the entire earth, and belive it or not there are quite a few more stories.

I probably should have known that! The poem here doesn't really do it justice!
Opprobrious monuments Remind us of lost Gods, Of our need for succour, through Birth to death. Only Man, the Intellect, has pillaged truth, made Raindrops of venom fall and scald pine needles. Oily, poison clouds of arrogance Unveil the Serpent's truth.

Pagan idealist Hypocritcal realist Identity awash with ill concieved notions... Latin for good deed Another warning to heed Never turn your back on a comitment... That is the way of the warrior Heroic to the point of self defeat... Re-built in "its" likeness Omnicient... benevolent... Pacification under the great opiate Yeilding only to our own good will

Maudlin air In this carriage. At the next Station I'll change, swap over, run to the end of the platform, regroup. At Morden lies freedom and breeze, the chill as the escalator claws upwards, but for now we've No air, no space, just sweaty collars and nostril hairs scared. Tin of fish. I'm a haddock. Heat and fish don't mix. Seriously, this Rolling stock isn't fit to send calves Over to the continent. You'd never be allowed! Politicians say it is improving. Yes. Of course it is.

Naked, clutching curtains at my throat I wave goodbye to the taxi's rearlights. Night time is lonely. City lights Open up evening secrets through their Morse code. Pressing my face against the glass, Oval smears that vanish quickly. Fascinating. Orange street helps Pass the hours. Forehead against the pane.

Civil liberties shuned... On the assumption that we're better off without, Nothing could be further from the truth... Times, simply restate their origins...like a sirene Enticing foolhardy sailors to live out similar fates Mundane habits built on like cities from the distant past Perseverance through the ages... a disease relapse... Oroborous, the symptom of the universe... Relentless in its never ending assult, Although any descriptions, are but mirror and smoke... Rarely does a genuine bit of thought come across Youths, elders... scratching their heads... at a loss...

Iced thoughts stand still across my abyss Gates of fire enclose my welcoming Never to be seen again, i'm withered in pain On the verge of self destruction Raptures of rage confide my lust for death Aquiring all that i have left My mind tortures the angst set inside thy self Underlying my gracious pale skin Still i stand with the wind screaming at my face

Insipid... stale... drab... No sun shining today Fine wine, strong sativa And nothing but time on my hands... Take a long pull on the bottle, I find the poison Unusually soothing, like love in the wrong place Amusing, aerial, acrobatics of a bottle fly... Twilight army settles to make camp In the western sky... Only the still air, the fly, myself & a Nihlistic point of view...
