"Royal Commentaries of the Incas" by Garcilosa de la Vega (second time around) and "Hamlet's Mill" by Georgio de Santillana and Hertha Von Deschend - awesome crazy work regarding the procession of the equinoxes, celestial ages and the real span of human time and catacalysmic disasters.

I just finished Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory's first two books in a trilogy - The Outstretched Shadow and To Light A Candle.
Right now I'm reading something ridiculous YA novel called "Faerie Wars".
Next up is Stephen King's 7th book in the Dark Tower series and Laurell K Hamilton's latest Anita Blake novel.

Steven King's "Desperation" Great Book, I love it! Confusing though... It is about this maniac cop that can talk to animals and tell them what to do with his big grey eyes. He steels eyes from others kind of... It is weird but I love the book so much I am on page 86.

read both "desperation" and "IT" by Stephen King, big King fan....IT is definitely one of his best--really long, but it never drags. "Misery" is by far his best novel...damn good movie, too.
myself, I'm tackling "Pompeii" by Robert Harris, a semi-fictional novel about an engineer repairing an acuquct on the slopes of Vesuvius a day before the big eruption...it's engaging, but quite slow and dull in parts. still, worth a read if you're into that kind of stuff.

is that a good book? looked at it in the bookstore but was hesitant about getting it... its definitely worth your time and money. i reccomend checking out the books that come before it, though. there are two before elf queen and one after it that all fit together. cant read one without the other. there are three more before those four(the sword of shanara, the elfstones of shanara, and the wishsong of shanara) that are also very good.. will help you understand the last four a bit better. ive read the seven book series three or four times already.. i really enjoy it. there are a few more books, but i havent been able to find them at used book stores yet, so i am waiting.
