Calmly slipping through the concrete cracks
Of the dreary grey-scale days,

A Heatwave
Fastened to the ground.

And it growled,
An angry animal
forced into a corner.

A dark little corner
In a dark little room.

It's cries broke forth
Bubbling wetly out.
Molten Blood spouted
and trickled down it's mouth.

Searing away the surroundings
As it drowned within it's pain.
