I feel your cold grip
around my barely beating heart.
I feel your presence near,
but yet we're still so far apart.
I'd love to hold you close my dear,
but you have passed away.
I know that I am lonely,
but love, this place you cannot stay.
I smell your sweet perfume,
when I'm sitting by the fire.
I feel your soul inside my room,
when I go there to retire.
I know you miss this life,
that was taken from you young.
Please my wife just lay to rest,
this song can't be unsung.
It's okay
just go to sleep,
I'll see you very soon.
Restless spirit
please don't weep,
meet me beneath the moon

So emotionally charged - every word a bullet to the heart. So bittersweet...so divine - as is your love for her that death can never do you part.
