I found a dream catcher crouched beside the road,
holding those dreams became an extra load
it's feathers were bent
it's beads were cracked
it's thread was Lent
{-tangled
-hungry
-shocked}
and a certainty it lacked.

it wasn't sure what it was,
ploughing through the field of life,
leaving the grass of dreams
torn in it's wake.

I ripped it in three,
stole the leather
to discard it beside a weeping tree
-the one that watched and leaked tears
of crystal,
to start again,
make a better one.

I found it on my window ledge,
Facinated, I licked a serrated edge.
The light catcher was broken,
or so I thought,
but a later examination found a token-
in the glass, you were caught.

Im speechless.. That doesnt happen often. Definitely going to feature this piece.
