In the slow velvet, softening
her skin is melting sky

spheres and coils liquify -
unveil the spiral,
folds within folds.

Multidemensional and curving...

she hums through space and time;
spiritual...
temple...
labrynth...

her body, benevolence and blessing.

Double eternity eats its tail
and slumbers in the belly of
lumbering discontent,

in the din and drawl
of river city atrophy.
Shedding, husks of celebration
and slick revival -

smooth and sublime,
she flourishes.
Uncorrupted.

Gorgeous write Chrys. I am shocked that you havent had replies to this yet.. It so smooth and warm.

I especially liked your line "spheres and coils liquify."

The last two stanzas are an excellent finish -- Really shows us her gentle, yet powerful strength.

gosh, still no more replies! Maybe they don't understand the meaning of the name, I don't, but the mere curiosity as to what the meaning was drew me in, and I'm glad it did... a few words I'm a bit confused with, and also in ths part:

Spritual
Temple
Labyrinth...

the way I read this aloud, I would think it would be better written like ths:

Spiritual...
Temple...
Labyrinth...

but I don't know if that's how it's meant to be read...

You are reading it correctly, PsychoB. Maybe I should add the ellipses in... and orobouros is a very strong, ancient symbol. Look it up. Learning is half the battle.

Bunny, you are correct in your assessment when you say anomoly...she/I/we certainly is/are.
{I get the feeling this orobouros is like the mother of the universe, the tiny atom, hidden somewhere, a single entity that was the creator of all this... life? } You are very correct in this statement. She is the originator of life - the cosmic, the mundane, the illimitable, the individual...the duality of each and every female, the divinity of the cosmic...
